Artist residency

You graduated from one of the Ministry of Culture's 44 public art and design schools less than 5 years ago and are dreaming of an original museum experience?

Like Christelle Téa, Eugénie Alméras, Demian Majcen, Adrien van Melle, Victoire Mangez and Margaux Laurens-Neel, you could be an artist-in-residence at the Musée National Jean-Jacques Henner.

The Musée National Jean-Jacques Henner opens the 7th edition of its artist residency.

For 5 months, a young graduate is invited to create in the museum's studio and return his or her work at an end-of-residency exhibition.

An office-workshop is made available to him to create in this splendid late 19th century museum-workshop. The museum team will introduce him to the works of Jean-Jacques Henner (1829-1905), a Beaux-Arts student and Prix de Rome winner, and invite the artist to take part in the museum's cultural and outreach programs. A "carte blanche" nocturne and an end-of-residency exhibition are devoted to the work of the selected artist.

You have until midnight on March 16, 2025 to send an application by e-mail to publics@musee-henner.fr
