Family audience
All year round, the museum offers youngsters the chance to discover its collections through fun and artistic activities:
Visits and Workshops:
- Family storytelling tours: children and their parents are invited to take a storytelling stroll as the paintings whisper stories (possibility of privatizing the tour for a birthday party)
- Polar tours : Through the works and spaces of the museum, the tour tells the story of the "Massacre de Pantin", a tragedy that shook the whole of Paris, and led to a radical change for the French press: the advent of the "fait divers"! (for a teenage audience)
- Artistic practice workshops : original workshops offered throughout the year where children discover Henner's work through original artistic practice. Béatrice Algazi, painter-decorator and creator of Atelier Konstantin, invites you to delve into the world of pigment and color with her "Baptême des couleurs" workshop. In Stéphanie Wezemael's "Pommes, Poires, Couleurs! "workshop, children will create a self-portrait or an imagined portrait, exploring notions of shape, proportion and facial expression! (For more information, see the agenda!)
- The paper booklet-game : available free of charge at the museum reception desk, the booklet-game accompanies the visit of the youngest visitors by having them investigate the museum.
Do it at home :
- Listen to tales: discover the stories whispered by the museum's paintings: monsters or fairies, fantastic tales, perhaps true stories...
- Downloadable games: before or after your visit, children can have fun coloring, dressing up museum characters, building the museum model or finding Jean-Jacques...
- Les tutos de Jean-Jacques: playful videos that invite creativity at home: ICI
What about the festive season?
- St Nicholas Day : Each year at the time of Saint Nicolas, the Jean-Jacques Henner museum organizes special family days allowing you to discover all the activities of the museum (animations, visits, workshops, Christmas market)
